Gulet Charter in Croatia
Gulet charter and crewed motor sail boats in the Dalmatian Adriatic Sea, Croatia
A gulet sailing holiday in Croatia with Navis Yacht Charter is the right choice. Gulet is a traditional style wooden yacht, also called a "caique", with one or two masts and an engine for steaming or cruising. In general, gulet sizes vary in length between 15 and 35 meters (50 - 110 ft.) hence the varying passenger capacity and the spaciousness of the cabins and salon.
A large sun deck, in/outdoor space, lounge for meals and cabins with WC and showers provide comfort while out at sea. Gulet capacities vary from 4 to 16 cabins, with each cabin accommodating 2 people in a double bed. One captain, one cook and a crew make a wonderful team for a pleasant journey.
Gulets are traditional wooden boats handcrafted in Turkey, most of which are built in Bodrum, Europe's largest shipyard for wooden yachts.
Gulet is becoming increasingly popular as a charter vessel in Croatia and the Mediterranean. With it's vast aft or stern deck, a gulet charter in Croatia is perfect for lazy cruising. Most of the gulets available for charter have air conditioning, cabin shower and double bed.
Typical charter agreements include: the yacht, crew, insurance, fuel for 4 hours of cruising per day, one meal, port taxes and without drinks (unless otherwise agreed). Half board is obligatory.
Full board is the other option and includes: three meals per day, soft drinks, local alcoholic drinks (or can be ordered by the yourself and charged for separately) fuel for 4 hours of cruising per day, fuel for generators, tenders, taxes, insurance, toys, national park tickets and port fees.
