Vertigo is breathtaking luxury sailing charter yacht, built by Alloy Yachts and designed by Phillipe Briand Yacht Design with yacht racing in mind with interior designed by Christian Liaigre. Vertigo’s graceful superstructure and sweeping sheer line makes her one of the most elegant and innovative super sailing yachts on the water.
She boasts fantastic teak laid deck offers fly bridge equipped with BBQ, wet bar, ice maker shaded by a umbrella’s, a pool (Jacuzzi) surrounded with sun pads, outdoor cinema with projector, Al-fresco tables, sunbathing areas and beach club on the aft. The interior designed by Liaigre offers residential feeling for the likes of Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo and the Spanish fashion designer Adolfo Dominguez, and the same delicate sense of modernism – based on luxurious dark-wood minimalism and a masculine palette of white, brown and grey. Her salon offers lounging, formal dining table, a bar and media area.
Vertigo sleeps up to twelve charter guests in five staterooms and GYM fitted with two Pullman beds ideally for the clients staff. Full beam master stateroom offers king sized bed, his and hers baths, walk in wardrobe, lounge area with sofas and office. Two double staterooms equipped with king sized beds, one double stateroom with queen sized bed and a Pullman, one twin cabin with two single beds and one single bed as bunk type. All her staterooms are air conditioned with en-suite facilities and equipped with the state of the art audio-visual gear like: Kaleidescape/Crestron system, flat TV’s, Apple TV, WiFi internet.
Vertigo is powered with two Caterpillar C32 engines developing 1470 BHP per engine, pushing her aluminum hull up to 17.0 Knots with range of 3400 Nautical Miles @ 12.0 Knots of speed. Her max measured speed while on sails was 20.0 Knots @ wind speed of 20 Knots. All information are subject to change without notice. Yacht charter prices are for a one-week charter or per day. Exact pricing and/ or any other detail will be confirmed in charter contract.
Any applicable taxes are extra.
We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.
It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.
Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.
In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.
Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
