Malibu

Malibu (ex.Kermit) is Lloyds classed and MCA compliant luxury charter yacht built in the Netherlads shipyard Amels Holland B.V. Designed inside out by the Terence Disdale she was launched in 2001. In 2006 she went to major refit during which her interior was re-designed by Reymond Langton. Her interior is smart, simple and relaxing with neutral tones and limed oak furnishings throughout. Malibu boasts fantastic sundeck equipped with Jacuzzi, sun pads, a bar, sofas, coffee table and sunbathing areas on the bow and aft. She feature two spacious salons with formal dining table, seating areas with large flat TV, an entertainment system and Al-fresco table on the upper deck.

Malibu sleeps up to max twelve charter guests in five staterooms: master, two VIP staterooms and two twin cabins. Full beam master stateroom is based on the main deck forward of main salon and feature large windows, king sized bed, spacious en-suite equipped with Jacuzzi and separate shower, office and lounge area. Two VIP staterooms along with twin cabins are based on the lower deck and feature queen size beds and en-suite baths. Two twin cabins are equipped with the single beds, en-suite with shower and Pullman bunk beds in each cabin. Entire yacht and staterooms are air conditioned with individual cabin controls.

Malibu is powered by two Cummins KTA 38M2 engines she can reach up to 15.0 Knots with cruising speed of 13.0 Knots and range of 5000 Nautical Miles @ 10.0 Knots. Even though she is full displacement (610 GT) and stable luxurious charter boat, she is equipped with stabilizers on the anchor and under way to make her clients stay aboard more comfortable. She is managed by experienced marine crew of twelve members.

All information are subject to change without notice. Yacht charter prices are for a one-week charter or per day. Exact pricing and/ or any other detail will be confirmed in charter contract.

Any applicable taxes are extra.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreement that is produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will be asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
