Pegasus is Greek flagged and Lloyds classed luxury charter yacht built in the Netherlands based prestigious shipyard Feadship and delivered in 1995 as White Rabbit. Her exterior styling and naval architecture is by De Voogt Naval Architects, while her interior is designed by Chester Jones/De Vries Makkum. The owner renamed her as Pegasus in 2008 and thereafter she went for extensive refit in Feadship where her length was extended to 52.25 meters and the interior was re-designed as per new owner requirements. Pegasus was awarded by World Superyachts for the best refitted yacht in 2010.
Pegasus accommodates up to twelve charter guests in six staterooms. Full beam master stateroom based on the main deck level features a king sized bed, large en-suite with the Jacuzzi tub and Turkish bath shower, a study, baby room equipped with one single bed and walk in wardrobe. VIP stateroom along and one double cabin based on the lower deck starboard, offers queen sized beds and bath tubs with the showers, while her three twin cabins based on the port side offers two single beds and shower en-suites in each cabin. Pegasus is equipped with state of the art audio-visual equipment like large flat TV's, Kaleidoscope server with movies library, SAT TV, iPod docking stations and WiFi internet connection throughout. She features two salons and spacious sundeck where her guest can enjoy in the sun in Jacuzzi or in salt-water plunge pool pampered by her professional and dedicated marine crew of eleven members. When at anchor somewhere in the Mediterranean, Pegasus transom converts into Beach Club i.e. private beach for her charter guests.
She is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 engines developing in total 5600 BHP push her full displacement hull up to 18.3 Knots with cruising range of 5000 Nautical Miles @ 12.0 Knots. She is equipped with Vosper stabilization system, when at anchor to make her guests stay on board even more comfortable by reducing motion of the boat.
Luxury charter yacht Pegasus is available for chartering in Greece from Athens which is her home port, however she can be hired elsewhere in the Eastern Mediterranean destinations: Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey. We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreement that is produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.
It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.
Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.
In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.
Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will be asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
