Luna ex.Galaxia is luxury sailing charter yacht, a ketch type, built by Viareggio based Perini Navi shipyard and launched in 1997. She was completely designed, styled by the Perini Navi In House design team. In 2007 Luna she went for major and extensive refit in Perini Navi shipyard, where she was fully upgraded inside-out. Kept in immaculate condition by her current owner, she is a perfect choice for exploration of the Mediterranean yachting destinations. Her teak laid vast two decks are fitted with AL-fresco tables at the aft and forward. You and your charter party can relax in the sheltered aft cockpit and enjoy views out over the vast, uncluttered aft deck or maybe enjoy in Jacuzzi?
Luna sleeps up to ten charter guests in five staterooms. Full beam master stateroom offers king sized bed, seating lounge, large bath equipped with a Jacuzzi and separate shower, his and hers wash basins and walk in wardrobe. Further to the bow there are two double staterooms fitted with a queen sized beds with en-suite showers and two twin cabins fitted with two single beds, Pullman beds and en-suites with showers.
Luna offers state of the art audio visual systems to her guests on board: AMX MVP7500 with Kaleidoscope movie and music system. There are 800 movies and 2000 CDs in system with touch screen control and selection. B&W speakers with surround sound, Sat TV and 24 hr internet access via VSAT system.
When the sails are “down” she is powered with two Deutz TBD617 engines, developing 1256 BHP per engine taking her steel hull up to 15.8 Knots with cruising range of 4000 Nautical Miles @ speed of 10 Knots. Luna is manned by a dedicated and professional marine crew of ten.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.
It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.
Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.
In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.
Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
