Tiara

Tiara is luxury sailing charter yacht built by New Zealand based shipyard Alloy Yachts International and launched in 2004. She is kept in immaculate condition by her owner since delivery.
In 2004 she was a Winner of Show Boats International Award and Finalist of International Superyacht Design Award. Tiara is a fast and powerful sailing cruising sloop. Everything about her is world class. She has been superbly designed and offers all the vast array of high tech amenities available in a current super yacht. Dubois Naval Architects have been in charge for naval architecture and the exterior styling, while John Munford did the interior.

Tiara offers extensive and spacious deck and fly bridge areas for outdoor entertaining and activities. She features a unique and magnificent, extremely spacious interior. Tiara welcomes charter guests with a light and easy atmosphere styled in Art Deco fashion in flamed mahogany. The interior utilizes clever and subtle use of leather, galucha, lacquer, and tasteful sculptures. Tiara’s decks are large, well flowing and spacious, and there are several areas for charter guests to sunbath, relax and enjoy the cruising experience. The fly bridge area accommodates a large dining table and is fully protected from the sun by an awning. The aft deck (which is large enough for helicopter landing) leads down, with a palatial stairway, to a fold out beach area at the transom. This ‘beach’ creates an ideal place to access the water for a swim, board the tender for a shore excursion, or try out the various water sports toys.

Tiara was designed to sail and perform on the ocean – unlike many earlier of her size – and she has excellent stability and sea handling qualities. She has a formidable carbon fiber mast of 62.5m (205′), as fitted with in boom furling, which is the maximum height capable of passing making passage through the Panama Canal. The sail inventory includes a Genoa, Jib, Stay sail, MPS and a Mainsail, all made from Spectra Carbon by North Sails. They are handled by Alloy Yachts captive winches and composite fullers. Tiara was in the 2004 largest luxury sailing yacht that Dubois has designed so far, and she is the largest yacht ever built in New Zealand (by the extremely well respected Alloy yachts). Her owner’s apartment is on two different levels and features a study and lobby. The aft deck is even able to accommodate the landing of a helicopter – a very rare feature indeed!

Tiara has proved herself to be very a seaworthy ocean going yacht, turning heads wherever she goes! Her professional crew is ready to provide the comfort and satisfaction you deserve on one of the most impressive sailing yachts in the world.

Tiara luxury sailing charter yacht can be hired worldwide: South East Asia, Thailand, Mediterranean and Caribbean area.

NOTICE

Yacht details are displayed in good faith and believed to be correct but are not guaranteed. Details to be confirmed by our Yacht Charter Specialists during booking process.

All information are subject to change without notice. Yacht charter prices are for a one-week charter or per day. Exact pricing and/ or any other detail will be confirmed in charter contract.

Any applicable taxes are extra.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
